Start with the deliverable
Investigate Firefly when a job already ends in an Adobe workflow. Evaluate Everygen when you prefer its focused short-form environment and want to assess its exact model choices.
Does your existing Adobe plan include this exact model/action, and what happens when its allowance is exhausted?
Compare documented workflows
| Dimension | Everygen | Adobe Firefly |
|---|---|---|
| Public focus | Short-form media workflows and model selection; see the video guide. | Firefly documents image, video and audio creation, partner models and connections to Adobe creative tools. |
| Model access | Check the exact variant and your plan entitlement. | Check the exact variant and your plan entitlement. |

Adobe and partner models can have different allowances and terms. A Firefly subscription label alone does not establish what one particular video generation includes.
Work out the usable-result cost
The retrieved Adobe plan page localized prices to DKK with tax. We do not convert that snapshot into a claimed US subscription price. Record the quote in your own region, billing commitment, included allowance and top-up cost. If your existing plan covers the work, distinguish zero additional subscription spending from the opportunity cost of consuming its credits.
effective result cost = all generation spending / accepted outputs
For subscription allocations, state whether you assume every included credit is consumed. Count annual upfront commitments, expiring unused credits and top-ups separately. Different providers’ credit counts do not have a shared monetary value.
Use the Everygen retry-aware calculator as one side of the worksheet.
A comparison you can reproduce
Use the same owned product still to create a short draft, then add the exact brand typography in your normal editor. Compare model access, image-to-video settings and the number of handoffs.
| Record | What to capture |
|---|---|
| Inputs | The same brief, owned references and target deliverable. |
| Settings | Model label, duration, resolution, audio and any mismatches. |
| All attempts | Quote, actual spending, elapsed time, errors and rejected outputs. |
| Acceptance | If the model needed for a client deliverable is outside your existing entitlement, price that exact action rather than the subscription name. |
