DOCUMENTATION COMPARISON

Everygen vs Luma

The old Dream Machine URL now returns Luma’s broader creative-agent product. Review the current destination and actual workflow rather than assuming the older product layout still applies.

Start with the deliverable

Investigate Luma when a project needs several related assets and team context. Evaluate Everygen when a smaller short-form task is the immediate requirement.

The question to answer

Can a second task reuse the approved product/character context without introducing new visual drift?

The old URL’s product name does not establish the current feature set. Export format, team permissions and model-specific costs need to be checked in the current product.

Work out the usable-result cost

The current Luma page displays Plus at $30 per month with 10,000 credits, and a separate $300 yearly commitment. A full monthly-credit allocation is $0.003 per Luma credit. A run quoted at q credits therefore allocates $0.003 × q before retries. Luma credits are not interchangeable with Everygen credits; obtain the same-brief run quotes before comparing dollars per accepted result.

effective result cost = all generation spending / accepted outputs

For subscription allocations, state whether you assume every included credit is consumed. Count annual upfront commitments, expiring unused credits and top-ups separately. Different providers’ credit counts do not have a shared monetary value.

Use the Everygen retry-aware calculator as one side of the worksheet.

A comparison you can reproduce

Prepare one approved product still, a five-second reveal and a second aspect-ratio variation. Record which context persists, which assets need to be uploaded again and whether collaborators can access the intended materials.
